What a ham!!!

As I drove up in the driveway coming home from cleaning - this is what I found. Jason said she needed a change, and took her outside to talk on the ham radio. She was having a good ol' time putting everything in her mouth, and shaking it. As you can see she is sitting up really well now, and is interested in everything! It's getting prettier outside so I'm able to take her out more - when the wind isn't gonna blow you down! She had a great time playing with daddy's ham radio stuff!

Play day with my daddy

Kerstyn had a fun time playing with her daddy! I got to get away a little - even though it was to clean a house. Jason did a good job - of course, and Kerstyn loved being with her daddy. He took these pictures of her, and she is just simply adorable! The first one looks like she's in trouble or something, like she's in the corner/time out - it's too funny. This is her bumbo seat that I keep in the bathroom so I am able to use the restroom.

She's just simply adorable!!!

Vrooom..vrooooommm....

Kerstyn and I went to Wal-Mart in Denison the other day, and they had a whole bunch of toys on clearance. The lady that worked in toys said that they were about to move a bunch of departments around, and so they wanted her to get rid of a lot of stuff. Anyway, we got this awesome little walker/scooter car for $15! It was regular $30 - so I think that is awesome. I got her another toy too, but figured I'd hang onto it for her birthday. This car is soo cool! It makes all kinds of noises, and when she starts walking the seat that is seperated goes together and she can ride it and push it with her feet. It's just a whole lota toy for $15!!! I'm probably more excited about then she is. I also wanted to get her something that she could pull up on, and she almost wanted to try it - but decided not to. She's just so darn cute!!!! Oh, and I took a bunch of pictures, and they will be contined below - because I can only put 5 pictures per entry.

Hey, I'm eating by myself!

Kerstyn loves eating frozen ice cubed apricots in her net feeder. She is going through about 2 cubes a morning, and half of it probably gets all over her. I know it has got to help her little gums feel better - since we have no sign of a tooth anytime soon. Daddy had to raise the legs on her excersaucer last night, because she's growing up like a weed! She did really well last night with her sleep training - it was our 2nd night. I'm looking forward to getting some much needed shut eye the next 2 nights while daddy takes over.

Maybe this is where it all began!

I just thought I wasn't getting any sleep then - sheesshh was I wrong! Kerstyn was about 6 weeks old in this picture. We were still trying to establish breastfeeding too, but wow - if I knew then what I know now! We're starting a new game plan this weekend, and it's gonna work - she just doesn't have any more choices! Momma's gonna loose what little sanity she still has if things don't change!!! She sure is a cutie patootie, but a stinker winker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Helping mom with the laundry

Kerstyn got a hold of the hangers while I was getting the clothes hung up tonight. She saw some up on the couch, and I thought she was going to attempt to pull up on the cushion - but she couldn't get a hold of it. So, instead she just kept reaching - higher and higher - then I just put some down for her to play with. She's rolling all over the place now - and fast! I had to put up some pillows in front of the entertainment center so she doesn't roll into it. Boy....I'm in for some trouble!

Kerstyn's first pair of long johns

Kerstyn got these adorable long johns handed down to her by my sister's friend Tracy. The top is still a little too big for her, but she will grow into them within no time. I was going to snap a picture of her last night, but she was all about getting right into bed! She is getting up on all fours all the time now.

play day with Karleigh

Kerstyn had a great day on Saturday playing with Karleigh and Katie. I really don't think she'd ever taken as long a nap as she did when she finally went down! Karleigh loves Kerstyn, and loves to play with her. Kerstyn is all about having someone little to play with, and had such a good time. Karleigh watched veggie tales, skipped around the living room singing this precious song "God is bigger than the boogy man...", and just played, played, played! We had a bunch of energy in one room between these two little girls!! :)

Havin a ball!

Kerstyn and I got this really neat ball at Wal-Mart, and she loves it. It's called move & crawl ball, and it rolls all around and teaches her animal sounds, shapes and numbers. It rolls really good on the floor, and one day when she is crawling she can chase it all around the house.

As soon as I write that were on a schedule, she goes and changes things up a little! I just really wish there were a way for her to communicate with me. We never know if it's her teeth, or she's just plain tired. Now it seems she might have allergy problems like her daddy, because this morning her nose was running and running. After a dose of benadryl - she and I finally got some much needed sleep!! Sheesshh! One day she will be able to tell me what is wrong, and that's the only thing I'm looking forward to about her growing up!!!
