Super baby!
Kerstyn and I have been a little under the weather the past couple of day, and she just started feeling a little better yesterday. She would litterally not let me put her down, and I'm glad it only lasted a couple of days. Her daddy was playing with her a little bit, and she enjoys watching him blow bubbles with his gum. While she was playing in the floor her bib got turned around, and it looked like she had a cape on. She enjoys making her srunchy face a lot! I really think she knows that I'm about to take her picture. She's such a cutie pie!!!!

As you can see Kerstyn loves to stand up now all the time! She will sit up a bit, but will usually straighten out her legs because she wants to be pulled up. She lights up whenever she sees Ashlee. Ashlee will follow us around during the day, and while Kerstyn is eating she will pull away and look at Ashlee sitting on the floor in her room. Ashlee is still getting used to her, but we keep telling her that they will be the best of friends! She is the sweetest dog ever, and is so gentle and calm with Kerstyn. We have the sweetest little girls!!
Kerstyn's 1st ride in the front seat!
Today Kerstyn rode in the front of a shopping cart for the 1st time at Sam's Club. She liked it allright, but she enjoys being carried by me better I think. She did fuss a little, but after putting some stuff in there with her she was a little more satisfied. There was another mom that saw me taking pictures as we entered Sam's, and she said she's always taking her sons' picture too. I told her it was a 1st, and so of course we had to capture the moment! Kerstyn got lots of attention - as she always does, and we made it through our shopping trip!

These are some okay pictures of Kerstyn's scrunchy face while she's happy. I can never capture it at just the right time. She did pretty well today with naps, and then as you'll see on my next post - which will show up before this one - she rode in a shopping cart for the 1st time today at Sam's. I think she likes the carrier better than the cart for now. She fussed a little, and then I just put some stuff in there that I was buying and she was content.
scrunchy, cry face & nursing the couch
I forgot to post these pictures the other day of Kerstyn trying to nurse the couch. Yes, you saw and read that correctly - trying to nurse the couch. It seems she will try and suck on just about anything. She is a supersucker!! I guess I'll blame that on teething since that is a side affect, and we still have no teeth. I've been telling Jason about her scrunchy faces, and he finally got to see it - but we could only get a picture of a crying scrunchy face. I will have to be ready with the camera, and get a good one of her happy scrunchy face. She's a little stinker!! I'm now working on nap sleep training, and we will see how much sleep (or lack of) she actually gets! So, far she's been in her crib almost 2 hrs this morning, and maybe passed out for about 15 mins. I guess we will try again for her afternoon nap :).

Steppin up, and standing out!
I got Kerstyn this toy and was supposed to put it up for her birthday, but as you can see that didn't happen! She is wanting to stand up all the time now, and I wanted something she could use to hold herself up with - so that's the reason I'm telling myself it was okay to give it to her early. :) She loves it! I left off two of the legs so it can sit on the floor for her right now, and then after she is able to stand better I'll put the other legs on. She is getting sooo big! I know I always say that, but it just almost hard to believe!

8 months old!
Yesterday Kerstyn was 8 months old! How time flies!!! She has started pulling herself with her hands and arms and dragging the rest of her body behind her - sometimes she will pull up her legs, but most of the time she just keeps them straight as a board. Danielle has come over this week to play with her, and help me out so I can get some stuff done around the house. Well, little miss Kerstyn has been kinda crabby during the day - due to lack of naps! Her nighttime sleep has gotton really good, but the daytime hasn't caught up yet. We are going to stay in tomorrow to see if that makes a difference at all. In these pictures it is capturing Kerstyn chewing on her lips, or as we call it "old mannin it!". I guess she enjoys it, because she's been doing it for some time now. We still have no teeth, and no sign of any coming in soon.

What a ham!!!
As I drove up in the driveway coming home from cleaning - this is what I found. Jason said she needed a change, and took her outside to talk on the ham radio. She was having a good ol' time putting everything in her mouth, and shaking it. As you can see she is sitting up really well now, and is interested in everything! It's getting prettier outside so I'm able to take her out more - when the wind isn't gonna blow you down! She had a great time playing with daddy's ham radio stuff!
